Entrusted Screenplay

Stephen also wrote the award-winning short screenplay, about a corrupt drug rehab, called Entrusted.

So far it has won at the London Film Awards festival of 2016, at the Cannes World Film Festival in November 2024 and at the Beyond the Screen Festival in Belgium, 2025

In 2025 it has already been Officially Nominated at The Cambridge Short Film Festival in the UK, and Officially Selected at the Cinema Carnival film Festival in Pisa, Italy, the Berlin International Screenwriting Festival / BISF in Germany, and the Oxford Script Awards in the UK.

 

Entrusted Synopsis

After finding his remaining son Cameron Moore collapsed semi-conscious from a drug overdose, our protagonist Alan is finally convinced by his wife Angela that Rehab is the only solution to save his son…

However, as the film unfolds and the layers of social veneer are peeled away, we are left with both the family and the rehab open to serious scrutiny.

Nothing is what it seems, and the usual desire for greed, power and control becomes ever more apparent. Digging deeper, we find the true reasons behind the terrifying future that besets Cameron. Time starts to tick away, and the real sources of corruption become only too clear.
